A former member of NYO, studied the Cello, Piano and classical Guitar from the age of 7 - obtaining distinction grade 8 at the age of 13, and now works as a Cello teacher and freelance player.
Paul has been a regular member of the "Jersey Symphony Orchestra", under the baton of Philip Ellis, since 1997 and can be spotted playing in the Channel Islands "Last Night Of The Proms" every summer.
Other performances/recordings include - for the Children's ITV programme "The Worst Witch", Arista records, with the National Musicians Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican, and solos with the Keele Philharmonic Orchestra. Locally, Paul has played with NSO, Nottm Bach Society, the Nottingham Choral Trust Concert Orchestra and of course with his String Quartet at various private functions.
Paul has also played Principal in Handel's Messiah in St. John Smiths Square, London; Principal in "The Seven Deadly Sins" at the Bloomsbury Theatre for a season; and accompanied functions at The Royal Albert Hall with friends from the Royal College of Music.
On top of his love for music, Paul is also trilingual which was put to good use in his former job as a holiday rep!!!
